Darkest Dungeon is a game made by Red Hook Studios Inc.( redhookgames.com/ ), a little indie company. This is a game that I never knew I always wanted to play. It combines the dark dire atmosphere of games like Thief and stories of Edgar Allen Poe with elements from Heroes of Might and Magic (turn-based, city overview), abilities like in so many RPGs and adds a unique mood/resolve system so that the terror your group of vagabonds and ragged heroes get exposed to actually strikes them and influences their performance!
