Tha Carter V is the 12th studio album by Lil Wayne released in 2018. It has sold around 1.1 million copies worldwide. It hit #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, where it has so far charted for 50+ weeks. It contains the top 10 hits "Uproar," "Don't Cry," "Let It Fly," and "Mona Lisa." It is a hip hop album. Originally planned to be released in 2014, Tha Carter V experienced several delays as a result of contractual disputes between Lil Wayne and Cash Money Records, as well as his numerous personal disputes with label-head, Birdman. It is the 5th installment of "Tha Carter" series.
